## Panasonic are available from Digikey [PLC Hardware](https://www.plchardware.com.au) are an online retailer based in Sydney. Steve Lang recommended them for Panasonic PLC, though they don't appear to stock Panasonic anymore. Steve said that they were significantly cheaper than Control Logic (who also don't appear to stock Panasonic PLCs anymore). Steve also said that the large companies only use Allen Bradley PLCs. This is despite the significant price difference. Allen Bradley HMI costing $14,000 can be replaced by a Delta HMI costing $3000, according to Steve Lang. ## Mitsubishi [PLC Hardware](https://www.plchardware.com.au) ESM have shut down. We do have the Step7 software on the older PC laptop. He has spare parts and performs electronic repairs. He has a lot of the programming cables and older software. - [MPA Engineering](https://www.mpaeng.com.au) have service engineers with Siemens experience, software and cables (they are based at Ipswich). - [Divine Automation](https://divineautomation.com.au/new/) in Melbourne have also assisted us with Siemens PLCs in the past. They have refurbished TP107A touch panels in stock and perform repairs on them. ## Beckhoff Make PC based PLCs. There is a realtime virtual operating system running on the PC for the PLC program as well as a Windows OS running for other tasks. Support from the company is very good. They appear to have a good reputation in the market as an affordable, quality option. We are seeing a reasonable number of new machines with Beckhoff controllers.
