We would like to have a home for everything that is worth keeping.
Is it worth keeping?
- Are we going to use it regularly?
- Is it difficult to get a replacement?
If it is worth keeping then it is worth the effort to store it properly.
- In a good box
- Big enough but not too big to be difficult to carry
- Something that will last
- Not cardboard
- With a lid that seals
- So that the items inside are findable
- Not too big, not too much stuff piled on top of each other
- Crystal clear boxes so you can see in them from outside
- White boxes so that it isn't dark inside whilst sorting through
- Labelled
- So we can see on the outside what is kept within
- General label with a QR Code linking to Obsidian
- Has a home
- Returned to the same place everytime
## QR Codes
The Obsidian vault is published to the web (from DRPs computer only). So we can put QR Codes on storage locations and boxes that link back to information in here.
In Dyno Connect you can Add a QR Code to the label and then past in the URL that will be used. The base address for our data is elecinnov.co so the URL for Box021 would be
https://elecinnov.co/storage/StorageBoxes/Box021
If you want to make a more elaborate label that is printed on a normal printer you can generate a QR Code and download a .png file from https://justaqrcode.com for no cost.
